Movember X L’Oréal Men Expert Barber Club Event
On the 31st of December 2018 the Movember Foundation celebrated a memorable charity event in cooperation with L‘Oréal Men Expert Barber Club in the “Musikbrauerei” in Berlin. The highlight of the event was the successful Guinness world record achieved through 69 beard shaves within only one hour. VIPs like Leonard Freier, Dawid Tomaszewski and Manuel Cortez shaved their beards for the good cause as well.
More top-level VIPs like Iris Berben, Massimo Sinato, Patrice Bouédibéla, Marina Hoermanseder, Boris Entrup and Jo Groebel followed the invitation and celebrated an unforgettable charity event in a multifaceted and outstanding location. Rob McMillen L´Oréal Men Barber Expert arrived as a special guest from New York. The showband D’Angerous completed the great atmosphere by animating the dance-loving guests.
The active research involving the general health of men of the Movember Foundation was introduced in the context of the celebration. The international charity organization set the ambitious goal to give the health of men more attention. They are focusing particularly on rarely addressed issues like testicular and prostate cancer with their research and awareness campaigns. Prostate cancer is an alarming illness because it almost does not cause any symptoms in the early stage. Still it is a very common disease. Especially young men are endagered to get testicular cancer. Once more there are only a few or no symptoms. However, with a prompt diagnosis it is possible to achieve a good healing process using approved treatment methods.
The Movember Foundation is the only one engaging for the health of men around the world. L’Oréal Men Expert is supporting this intent with worldwide projects.
The whole evening was characterised by charity. A raffle for guests underlined that by selling batches for a donation. The party went late into the night. The VIP guests and influencers supported the Movember Foundation with their presence and raised the awareness on men’s health.
