DIAMANT

Founded in 1885 in Hartmannsdorf near Chemnitz, Diamant ranks among Germany‘s oldest bicycle manufactures. Still today tradition and innovation are closely linked. The brand, which is rich in cultural heritage, stands for attention to detail and highest German quality. The biggest part of the bicycle production takes place in Hartmannsdorf, where all Diamant Bikes are painted and assembled by hand.

In 1911 the bicycles are given a face: The typical Dimant-head is registered as a protection symbol. During the following years several racing athletes celebrate considerable success and help making the brand increasingly famous. As a consequence, those sporting successes raise production figures as well as quality standards. In 1992 Diamant produces ist first electric bike – hence, today looks back on 20 years of e-bike experience.

Being taken over by the „Trek Bicycle Corporation“ in 2002, Diamant again takes another step forward. Diamant bicycles of the new generation especially convince with their cutting-edge frames, high-quality components and finely tuned designs.
