Since the beginning of his career, his high claim to the hairdress handwork is his ambition. He finished his apprenticeship at the atelier of Eberhard Josten in Dernau, who is a world champion of hairstylists, and worked in the "Studio Peter Steimel" in Cologne among other things. After moving to Berlin, he worked at the atelier of star hairdresser Udo Walz and after this he opened his own salon, which has the name "Atelier" as a statement and homage to the art of haircuts.
