Digital Press Day: New digital platform for fashion & beauty
About the project
On the 23rd of June 2020 R+ set new standards for staging a successful live press event. Over 360 editors, stylists, VIPs and influencers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland followed the livestream moderated by Janin Ullmann.
At 10:00 a.m. the fashion keypieces of the coming autumn/winter season were presented, followed by the beauty highlights at 4:00 p.m. A lot of variety was provided by product films of the participating brands produced by R+ and 360-degree product shots.
At the Fashion Press Day, the latest pieces from fashion and lifestyle brands such as Superga, Replay, LeGer by Lena Gercke, Nobis, Sebago, K-Way, Edel-Optics, Barbie, Fresh'n Rebel or Lascana were presented. As an absolute highlight Janin Ullmann held a live trend talk with star designer Guido Maria Kretschmer, who talked about his eyewear collection with Edel-Optics and his new collection with About You.
The presentation of the participating beauty brands followed at 4:00 p.m. Janin Ullmann and her co-presenters presented the beauty highlights of EUBOS, L'Occitane, Nu Skin, Glossybox, One Drop Only and Kale&Me. As a special guest of the beauty scene, star make-up artist Horst Kirchberger was connected to the show via live video and answered the presenter's questions about current trends.
This production demonstrated how it is possible to present product highlights and trend pieces with a special live character to a selected B2B audience in an entertaining and informative way.
